Rhonda Matlock is a native of Dallas, TX. Rhonda attended Booker T. Washington High School of the Visual and Performing Arts. She also cheered for H. Grady Spruce High School. She furthered her edcation and attend Bethune-Cookman College where she was a dancer and captain for the 14k Danceline. As the head coach for the Baby Booms and the Boom Squad Coach Rhonda has proven to be the prime example of a coach for children ages 4-6 years old.
Lee Waters is a native of Dallas, TX. He is the Head Coach of Xplosive Firecrackers. Lee danced for Xplosive from 2013-2015. He graduated from Wilmer- Hutchins High School where he was a member of the marching band as well as a drum major. Lee also, danced in the classical dance ensemble where he trained in jazz, ballet, and modern dance. He also won the coveted title of Mr. Wilmer-Hutchins during his high school years. He is a former member of the the Texas Southern University "Ocean of Soul" Marching Band.

Jurdon Ware is a native of Dallas, TX and graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School. Jurdon was a member of the Wilmer-Hutchins marching band. He is a former member of the the Texas Southern University "Ocean of Soul" Marching Band. As an Xplosive alumni, Jurdon wanted to pursue his passion for dance by giving back and providing his expertise in battle counts. Jurdon now serves as the Assistant Coach for high school team and the battle squad coach. His many hats include majorette instructor, as well as uniform designer in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area.
Anthony C. Merrick is a native of Dallas, TX. He is a graduate of J.F. Kimball High School, were he was also a member of the Kimball's Cheer Team. Anthony is a graduate of Grambling State University, where he was a member of the Grambling State University Cheer Team. Anthony began coaching with Xplosive in 2010 and he is now the Assistant Head Coach for the high school team. Anthony's dance career includes numerous all-male dance organizations such as the Dallas Dymen where he served as Captain for three years and Texas Teasers were he served as a line-member.

Charlene Blaylock is a native of Dallas, TX. She has been teaching dance for over 25 years. Charlene was one of the first drill team directors for Lancaster ISD. She has over 35 years of experience working with youth the ages of 6-18. Currently Charlene is pursuing her Associates Degree in Child Development and Business at Cedar Valley Community College. She serves as an ordained Deaconess for her church and community. She is the official team mom of the organization.
